Hoteli Baška d.d. opened the first four- star hotel on the island of Krk, the redecorated annex Zvonimir bacame a bed and breakfast facility while annex Adria became four- star Villa Adria.

In 2001 there were 720,059 overnight stays in Baška.
Thanks to further investment in camping sites Bunculuka, it achieved the category of four stars and the one of Zablaće of three stars.
In the same year the new restaurant Bonaca was opened in naturist camping site Bunculuka, owned by Hoteli Baška d.d.

This was Baška's most successful season with 922,291 overnight stays. The record year is 2013 with 933,066 overnight stays and more than 9,800 accommodation units in camping sites, hotels, private campsites and vacation homes.

Baška celebrates 110 years of tourism.
In more than a hundred- year long tradition, thanks to the efforts, investments and knowledge, Baška has become a touristic giant, the most significant municipality in Primorsko- goranska County, on the basis of the number of overnight stays.

On this occasion we would like to thank all those who have in this long period contributed to the touristic development of the town and the results that make us all proud today.
Tourist Board of Baška becomes the tourist board of the municipality Baška following the reorganization of local administration and self- administration when Baška became a municipality.
Baška experienced a touristic flourishing; its accommodation capacity increased to more than 8,000 units in car camping sites, hotels and private accommodation and vacation homes.
Hotel Company Baška was transformed into shareholding company Hoteli Baška d.d.
Reminiscence of the beginnings of tourism and further development arising thereof was recorded in the monograph issued at that occasion: "100 Years of Tourism" by Miroslav Pavlović and Majda Šale.
"Hundred years of Tourism in Baška" was celebrated in Baška.

Family hotel Tamaris, owned by family Šarić- Plišić was opened. It was situated by the main beach Vela plaža and had 15 double rooms and 15 suites, all modern in their furnishing.

The first aquarium on the island of Krk was opened- Akvarij Baška, owned by tourist agency Šiloturist owner Dragan Brnić.
Hoteli Baška opened a new facility of high standard (four and five stars), "Atrium Residence Baška“ and new congress hall with 250 seats.
There was systematic investment in campsites Bunculuka and Zablaće. New modern private accommodation was opened.
Municipality Baška opened the renovated pier Stara riva after investing 3.52 million kunas. This pier is now adorned by a stone monolith of the glagolitic letter omega by the sculptor Ljubo de Karina, as the final sculpture of Baška's Path of Glagolitic Alphabet.

Baška received the first Blue Flag on the island of Krk in the competition "International Blue Flags for Beaches and Marinas".
investments in existing accommodation capacity resulted in better quality; hotel Corinthia I was upgraded to three- star category, car camping sites Bunculuka and Zablaće were renovated.
The first campsite owned by Tonči and Romana Hrabrić, called "Mali" was opened. Its capacity was 45 units.
The investments of Municipality Baška into infrastructure intensified.
