 The number of overnight stays progressively grew from 162,000 to 400,000.

At the beginning of the Liberation War, once again the arrival of tourists and tourist activities were interrupted. Baška shared its destiny with other parts of Croatia in the war years.

First refugees from Vukovar and Dubrovnik together with those from Hospitality School of Osijek arrived to Baška (about 700).

the bypass road around Baška was opened, from the crossroads near the cemetery to future car camping site Bunculuka and the port of Baška.

HP Baška joined hotel companies from Njivice and Krk and with company Trgovina Krk entered a new joint company “Zlatni otok Krk” with its seat in Krk.

Tourists gradually returned to Baška despite of the war still active in the hinterland. 172,754 overnight stays were realized.

Pursuant to the organizational changes, the tourist office became tourist board of Baška, one of the first registered in Croatia.

1992

Otvoren je moderan naturistički kamp Bunculuka koji je mogao primiti dvije tisuće posjetitelja u jednom danu.

Tourist offices were established in Draga Bašćanska, Jurandvor and Batomalj.

 

Significant investments were made into infrastructure.

hotel Corinthia with 274 beds was built.

HP Baška grew into an important enterprise with 160 full- time employees.

Baška had 1,000 beds in hotels, two car camping sites with 3,100 places, 3,400 beds in private boarding houses and 500 beds in vacation homes.

 

83,329 visits and 514,14 overnight stay were realized in Baška.

HP Baška left the joint company Zlatni otok and established Hotel Company Baška.

The dissolution of the state of Yugoslavia had an impact on the stagnation of tourism.

Hotel Corinthia III was built.

the modern naturist campsite Bunculuka was opened with capacity of two thousand visitors a day.
