Following the previous notice regarding the temporary closure of unclassified road NC-5 leading to the Baška cemetery (St. Ivan), residents and all road users are hereby informed that, after the preparation of the project and technical documentation and the completion of the simplified procurement procedure, the conditions have been met for the commencement of rehabilitation works on the said road.

The contractor is scheduled to be introduced to the site on 27 April 2026, and the works will be carried out by G.P.P. Mikić d.o.o., Omišalj.

During the execution of the works, the relevant section of the road will remain closed to all traffic until the completion of the works and the restoration of safe passage.

Protective barriers and appropriate temporary traffic signage remain in place at the location, and all road users are kindly requested to respect them for their own safety. Unfortunately, despite the installed barriers, certain road users have not been complying with the warning signs, so we once again appeal to everyone to observe the temporary traffic regulation until the works are completed.

The public will be informed in a timely manner of the exact completion date of the works and the reopening of the road.
